Winter Flute Gathering ONLINE
Thursday evening – Sunday afternoon

All classes, workshops and concerts will be held on Zoom. A few days before the retreat, all registrants will receive information to connect into the online sessions.

| 11:30am-12:45pm CST | Session 1 Instructor: Cornell, Tech: Tim Let’s Get Playing – Get the fingers moving with simple melodies and improvisations. Play with a relaxed approach in our bodies to allow our hands and fingers to support our musical ideas. Bring your G-minor flutes. |
| 1:00-2:15pm CST | Session 2 Instructor: Pam, Tech: Joe Exploring the Toolbox of Expression – How do you express the emotion of the music within you? What sort of tools do we have to allow for this expression? Let’s explore this toolbox through dynamics, breath, leaving space between notes, textures, articulation, natural and timed rhythm, playing with drones and much more. Bring flutes, curiosity and questions. |

This will be a joyful dive exploring endless possibilities for creativity with our flutes. Bring your G-minor and A-minor flutes. |
