3rd Annual
FEBRUARY 20 – 23, 2025
Thursday evening thru Sunday afternoon
Music creates a space for exploration—a place where sound flows from our breath and fingers, allowing us to play, improvise, and connect deeply. It’s a reminder to make time for the things that matter, like family, hobbies, or quiet moments. For many of us, music is one of those essential priorities.
Join from where ever you are in the world!
The Winter Flute Gathering is an ONLINE multi-day retreat for enthusiasts of the Native American style flute.
The retreat features workshops, classes, concerts and open playing sessions (e.g. flute circles, open mic) focusing on the Native flute, led by some of the finest teachers, performers and recording artists in the US. In addition to flute, classes are also available for didgeridoo. Our interactive workshops and classes will cover topics like improvisation, composition, embellishment, expressive playing, rhythm, technique and recording.
Our event is a supportive, non-competitive atmosphere designed to maximize curiosity, learning and creativity. One of the key ingredients of this gathering is the camaraderie — friendship, bonding, personal growth and expression through making music in a supportive environment.
This event will be held ONLINE through Zoom. Access to all classes, workshops and concerts is included in the retreat tuition. Welcome to all players, no matter where you are, to join us online.
Space is limited at this popular multi-day retreat. Advance registration is required .
